Extension to the rear and side of a terrace Victorian house including a modern kitchen dining area, new full height glazing and new roof windows.
The insertion of a new steel frame allowed existing loadbearing walls to be removed, and the space extended to create a new large open-plan space filling the side-return. Glazed patio doors were installed creating a fully glazed aspect to the garden. A new fully insulated floor was laid throughout. Generously sized rooflights were installed over the sink area. The client collaborated with local kitchen maker Pluck on a bespoke plywood kitchen.
