Office Refurbishment, 2010
The Dulwich Estate
Internal refurbishment of the interior of the Grade II listed offices of the Dulwich Estate. The project comprised a new reception area along with simple refurbishment of the office spaces.
Working in the Dulwich Estate allowed us to build up a strong working relationship with the organisation which led to an invitation to redesign their reception area and offices. The original layout saw the receptionist place behind a small hatch and the Estate were keen to make the space more welcoming and open.
We removed existing partitions and designed a series of strategic furniture elements all upholstered in a warm durable leather. These included a new reception desk, a sliding partition, and a new seat for visitors. A new full height fireproof screen ensure fire regulations are complied with while maintaining transparency and openness.
