Loft conversion of a semi-detached Victorian house in the the Dulwich Estate with zink roof dormer, large glazed Velux roof lights and exposed rafters.
Conversion of the attic space of a semi-detached Victorian house in Dulwich. The project comprised construction of a new roof dormer, staircase, bathroom and bedroom. The new staircase was designed to match existing but in a simplified manner, a large rooflight allows light to wash over the new staircase to the floor below. The main bedroom was carefully designed with the bed centred under the exposed apex of the roof, bedside lighting and shelving is carefully integrated. The bathroom is a simple design with ceramic wall tiles and linoleum flooring, a large rooflight also washes light into the bathroom.
