Extension to the rear and side of a terrace Victorian house including a modern kitchen dining area, new full height glazing and new roof windows.
The insertion of a new steel frame allowed existing loadbearing walls to be removed, and the space extended to create a new large open-plan space filling the side-return. Glazed patio doors were installed creating a fully glazed aspect to the garden. A new floor was laid throughout incorporating underfloor heating. Generously sized rooflights were installed in strategic locations over the kitchen and dining area. A simple light-grey lacquered kitchen was installed complete with quartz countertops.
