The studio completed the architectural element of a masterplan by Churchman Landscape Architects for South Park in Fulham. The masterplan proposed the demolition of an existing changing room block to be replaced with a new modern structure housing new changing rooms, public toilets and a cafe facility. The studio participated actively in an extensive consultation process aimed at canvassing the views of key users and stakeholder groups. Sited in the centre of the park the building is a formal symmetrical structure that addresses its four key aspects in equal measure. The design of the building is underpinned by a formal grid which is manifested in a colonnade on the exterior that provides shelter next to key entrance points.
