The practice was approached by a private developer to look at proposals for this corner site in Hither Green. Detailed pre-planning application discussions led to the development of this modest three bedroom family house. The design embraces the wishes of the planners to maintain an open corner in the street and also to respect the privacy of the neighbouring house. The design is intended to be a simple and legible interpretation of a three bedroom family house. While the design is modern it is to be constructed from traditional robust materials namely brick with timber framed windows and doors.
